Privacy policy · Licence terms · Terms of use · Account deletion
These Terms of Use are for the people who use LF Software applications every day: guards, operators, analysts, managers and end customers. You accept them the first time you sign in to each application. They complement the licence agreement executed with the organization that gave you access, and the Privacy policy, which explains how your personal data is handled.
Access to the applications is granted by an LF Software customer organization (your employer, a security company, a customer or another entity), which holds the licence and is responsible for the installation you use. By pressing "Accept" you declare that you have read and agree to these Terms and to the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the application: pressing "Decline" ends the session and returns you to the sign-in screen.
When these Terms change in a material way, the application asks for your acceptance again at the next sign-in. The date and version you accepted are recorded on your account.
Your account is personal and non-transferable. It was created and is managed by the organization that gave you access, which defines your role, the features you can use and how long you keep access.
You are responsible for keeping your password, the application PIN and, when enabled, two-step verification secret. Do not share credentials or let anyone else use the application with your session. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change the password and tell your organization immediately.
Anything done with your session is presumed to be done by you, unless it is shown that the account was used by a third party through no fault of yours.
The applications are intended solely for the operations of the organization that gave you access, within your duties. You may not use them for personal, unlawful or unrelated purposes.
In particular, it is prohibited to: access or attempt to access accounts, data or installations that are not yours; use location, voice communications, cameras or records to monitor, harass or intimidate people outside the legitimate scope of the operation; enter false information in occurrences, patrols, alerts or reports; send unlawful or offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights; interfere with the service, circumvent technical restrictions, licensing mechanisms or access controls; reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the applications.
Several features process sensitive data: real-time and background location sharing, push-to-talk communications, keyword-triggered recording of communications, patrol records, video and detection alerts, and emergency signals. These features are configured and enabled under the rules of the organization operating the installation, which is responsible for informing users and for defining what is collected, who sees it and how long it is kept.
When a feature depends on an action of yours, such as enabling location sharing or responding to an alert, do so only within the scope of the service and according to your organization’s instructions.
The processing of your personal data is described in the Privacy policy. In customer-operated installations, the organization operating the installation is the data controller, and it is with that organization that you exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection. LF Software directly processes only the data needed for licensing, technical support and communication with customers.
Keep the phone or computer on which you use the applications up to date, with screen lock enabled and free of software from dubious sources. Do not install the applications on modified devices (rooted or jailbroken). If the device is lost, stolen or replaced, tell your organization immediately so the session can be ended remotely.
On devices provided by the organization, the organization may manage the device and the application remotely, including viewing the equipment status, ending sessions, providing remote assistance and erasing application data, under its internal policies.
LF Software works to keep the applications continuously available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features depend on mobile or Wi-Fi networks, GPS, the state of the device and the organization’s infrastructure.
Alert and emergency features (alarms, detections, panic signals and the like) are aids to the operation. They do not replace public emergency services or your organization’s security procedures, and the response to each alert is defined and provided by the organization, not by LF Software.
The organization that gave you access may suspend or close your account at any time, in particular at the end of the employment or service relationship. LF Software may suspend access in case of use in breach of these Terms, risk to the security of the service or expiry of the organization’s licence. Deletion of accounts and associated data follows Account deletion.
The applications, code, taxonomies, databases, documentation, trademarks and visual identity are the property of LF Software and their respective owners. These Terms grant you no rights over them beyond the intended use. The Licence terms govern the relationship with the licensed organization.
The governing law and competent courts are those defined in the licence agreement between LF Software and the organization that gave you access. Questions about these Terms: geral@lf-softwares.com.
